I'm not sure what it is about picks like the one on the new regs but I love them!
Anyone have any pictures of a canoe loaded up with some sort of tasty critter that they would care to share?
No northern moose trips for my canoe yet......
Cheers

Maybe later this season, but that is a quintessentially Canadian image, is it not?

I think it may be the pleasure you get from seeing photos like the one mentioned is one of being closer to nature, the piece and quiet of it all. Day's gone by when hunters used this form of transportation quite a lot while hunting. There's some really good Google Images under "hunting with a canoe". Not that hunting with a motorized boat is not enjoyable but.......
Looking forward to moose hunting this fall with my canoe ! Hope to see some great pictures in this thread from hunters here on HBC..
