Hi All

Want to try some different factory ammo this year, so that I can have one bullet for everything in the 30-06.

Max shots would be 200 yards but some shots could be real close. Game would be small blacktails and potentially large black bears.

Thinking ttsx would be good to try possibly 150gr or 168gr, does anyone have any experience on what could be a better choice, seems like both would do for black bear but mainly wondering about those blacktails.

Both, will work for blacktails, too.

I've used 150s on moose and 180 on deer. Kind of backwards but anyways.
I couldn't tell a difference. Animals don't like holes in their lungs or broken necks.
If I still had a 06. I'd go 168 for everything.

Buy a box of each and see if one shoots better. Both will work just fine on the far end.

Try the 165gr Hornady GMX, you won't be disappointed.

anything bonded or monometal expanding will put the hurt on anything in Canada at that kinda range.

Thanks for the input, I will try the 150 and 168 and see what shoots best, I was also having a looking at the GMX but in a factory load not many of the local shops I frequent stock them compared to the barnes factory loads.
