Wondering how everyone/anyone else did for the opening this past Monday.
Took the boat out with 2 buddies, launched at Island 22 and headed upstream to the bar just before the bend into Calamity point. 3 rods for 6 hours not a sniff. Didn't see any hookups below us either. Water clarity was the craps, must be some rains up north, good for the forest but not so much for us bar fishers.
Lots of socks rolling in the shallows. Seen what looked like a nice sturgeon hooked above, boat floated out of sight so must have been a gooder.
Took a rip up the Harrison mid afternoon for a swim then called it a day.
Anybody else plunk some glows these past few days?
