Shore fishing Gibsons

Anyone have experience fishing Gibsons? Just here now with family. Brought the rods just not sure what to do... Any tips/suggestions appreciated. No boat just want to toss a line in from shore. Thanks in advance!

Is it called Davis bay or something? I think it's the creek that goes to the hatchery.i fished the mouth a couple years back and did well!
