I got my moose two weeks ago, my budy got his elk cow two weeks ago and my dad got his doe draw last week!?
I would be somewhat concerned that you have not received your draw in the the mail yet.
I'm gonna check with some of my other guys to see if they got theirs yet?

I got a temporary notice for a LEH goat hunt (Aug 1 to Oct 15)... we're not heading up until Sept 1. Can't wait! I'm loosing sleep and when I do finally pass out I'm dreaming of wide open spaces!

I don't know why with the new online application system that they didn't make it so that you could simply PRINT OUT your authorization off the website. Seems like a no brainer, save money on postage. But hey why would the government do something that makes sense.

I think the plans are for things to go to self-printing for more things next year. Not sure why it needed to be staggered but all things considered maybe it's better they pace themselves.

I got my griz and Mule leh today. The odds on the 3-12 cow/calf moose draw were 615:1..... That cant be right. Does anyone know if there is a website that will tell us all the odds from this years draw?

Not sure about a website, but:
If you received an LEH authorization in the mail it will have this years odds for the successful and unsuccessful LEH's applied for.

Example; I applied for the Port Renfrew Elk as always, the synopsis it states the odds as being 131.8:1, that figure comes from the draw in 2015, however on my unsuccessful notice it states 245.0:1 odds during this past draw 2016.
Same goes for the Moose I chose, last year the odds were 12.9:1, this years draw was 8.6:1
Mtn Sheep odds for 2015 were 19.0:1 this year draw was 20.6:1
The goat draw I chose was listed as 3.4:1, but according to the authorization for this years draw was 2.2:1

My best guess would be that a crazy amount of people applied for an advertised low odds hunt this year, which increased the odds this year.
It will be interesting to see what the 2017 LEH synopsis says the odds are for that same hunt, should be what they printed on your unsuccessful notice.

Ours showed up on Thursday - both the successful and unsuccessful notices for both the Mrs. and I - as in previous years. My wife wanted to put both through the shredder since she didn't read the upper portion of the page very well - good thing I was there to intervene and save the authorizations. Possibly another reason why some folks go 10+ years without a successful draw.

My dad had asked me to put him in for island elk , and when I checked his hunter # the first night it didn't show anything. But last week he was going threw the mail, and was successful. Might not hurt to recheck your results.

after almost 3 weeks in the UK i came home to a stack of mail....only successful draw was for moose (2 moose for 4 of us) and that was the first mail i opened...now that i have the paper in my hand it feels real...YEEESSSSSSS...is that jingle bells i am hearing cuz it feels like christmas to me..heheheh,,none of the other draws (that i did not get) were mentioned on it.....it was my only successful LEH.....sorry for the hijack but does anyone know how to find out who the person in the group is that got drawn? is it even possible to find out who is the lucky one in the group?
