I'm guessing because the season opens august 1, that it's just a temporary leh permit to carry incase the "original" doesent show up in time. Iv heard of a couple others getting the same one in the mail this week, haven't heard of any for leh sheep tho

Wow, talk about the height of bureaucracy when they mail you something saying they will be mailing you something shortly. Why not just mail the damn proper authorization instead?

I used to laugh when my dog was being silly and tried catching his tail, I didn't realize at the time that this was how the government worked.

If there is a postal strike, ServiceBC can still print you off your LEH authorization at the office nearest you. A friend of mine 2 years ago forgot his authorization when he left for his moose hunt. He stopped in at ServiceBC along the way and got another one printed off.

You'd think but then again it's the government lol. That would be too easy for them. I wish i knew what the delay was as we received our allocations within a week or two of the draw being run under the old system.

Probably because it would be fairly easy to Photoshop and give yourself an authorization even if you are not drawn.
