Feral pig are a myth in bc I think :) you never seem to see any trail cam pic of them and it seem to alway be a friend of a friend that seen one or shot one but didn't have a camera :(

anyway hopefully you find some :) good luck

Feral... not wild. Meaning they're in a wild state after escape from captivity...

Actually some photosdo exist of 4 shot by 3 different folks...the millitary area by risk creek I personally have seen tracks in mud..and tracks trail in snow.
The area is big stretching along hwy 20 to Meldrum creek all on the north side.
Corbyn next timewe do coffee ill show you the rough area and where the pigs were released from.

Rinella has some interesting stuff on wild pigs in a recent podcast - all pigs outside of Africa are the same species, wild or not - Hawaii to Texas.

I read an old BC Outdoors from the 80's that said biologists were not too worried about, I think Harrison Lake pigs, because they thought they did not have the nutrition available to them to thrive in the BC coniferous forest - i.e no access to nuts and such.

I think we get too excited about a potentially fun hunt in BC after watching all the pig hunt videos out of Texas. Not going to happen here

Buddy got a few pics of a pair of them outside Quesnel this spring while at work. Legit, feral hogs.

I love feral pigs. No closed season, no bag limit, taste good, non-native so the Indians don't have a case. They're the best thing that ever happened to meat hunters in BC.
