REGION 5 AREA 5-2 Questions

Looking for some feedback on how successful this Area is For Moose, Lots of animals? wheres a good place to start? Good Areas? Lots of Pressure? etc. Thinking about putting in next year in this area never been before but odds look good for leh was just snoozing this year and put in else where! any help would be great

i got a grizzly draw last year in 5 15 c seen a few bulls not sure on 5-2 sorry

Some great moose numbers still in 5.02...most all subzones sre simmilar...last oct..first morning..Oct 1..first 90 minutes..bull moose down for a moose rookie..that was 5..02..wolf numbers are way up....

The grizzly have moved in as well. Seen 7 grizzly last fall. Only got a glimpse of 2 wolves. Don't eave anything unattended or you will be sharing it with a grizzly and cubs.

Heavy wolf presence in 5-02 last couple years...getting worse, but possible to find some if you put the work in.

There are moose around but its by no means a great spot. Used to see a decent amount in 5-2A but the last couple years not so much. On the other hand its a good black bear spot. Friends have had some success in the past but dont expect to hold out for a big one.

5-2 is pretty big, what section?

We have (my hunting group) have taking 5 bull out of 5-02 in the last 5 years, we had 3 group draws,first year took 1 out of 2 bull (could have filled both but we were Rockies) second time fill both tag and the third time fill both tag, so they are there BUT like others have side the wolf/bear population in there is very very healthy and the moose seem to be harder and harder to find,

Great black bear hunting. Pick 2 out of the 30 you'll see on the first day out the windshield and take'em away.
