to me the hanwag alaskan and the schnees sheep hunter GTX look just about the exact same. any pro's and con's on these two boots would be awsome, as I am looking at getting a knew pair for next year sheep season( this year is screwed the furnace went out some time last year during deer season and the wife is due about August 8).
