View Full Version : best hunting/camping stove/grill?

looking for a good camping grill or stove something to do my cooking on was gonna get a camp fire grill but sometimes theres a fire ban so that wont really work wondering what some of you guys use as outside grills or stoves thanks guys?

We run one of the coleman multi-fuel 2 burner camp stoves, love it. Durable, and in a pinch you can run gasoline or kerosene in it. http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/coleman-39-naptha-39-camping-stove-0762043p.html Can take a minute or 2 to get it burning well if it's really cold, until the fuel atomizer heats up, but all in all a great stove, highly recommended. That and a good well seasoned cast iron frying pan, and can fry up pretty much anything, either over the fire, or campstove

I gotta agree with RiverOtter.Although a wee bit heavy they are wicked units to cook on.

To be honest, if I were forced into something smaller due to size/weight, I'd simply opt the single or double burner version with an oversize pan......They are that good.
