Well Pikey and I went up to hunt bears after work. It was a long haul. Got to our spot about 7:00 pm and walked into the cut.

Saw a huge brown bear running through the cut at 300 yards. He was travelling pretty fast so he must have caught our scent or saw us.

We walked slowly up the side and saw a buck bedded down in the trees. Snapped a quick picture and kept moving. We saw lots of rabbits...nearly shot an unsuspecting drain pipe that was making an awful lot of noise in the bush and saw one other cinamon bear like the one in the video however it had a big belly near the ground. We hesitated thinking he was a grizzly and he walked. Oh well.

Another good hunt!

Nice shot. Those mulie ears sure make the antlers look small eh? If that was a blacktail he'd be coming along quite nicely for a 3 year old.

Mis-worded, we chambered up, safety on and then 'stalked' the drainpipe to the source of the noise, it turns out that the water was pushing some debris and sticks around making cracking noises, we felt a little silly.
