So the family and I and a few good friends hit up the beach today for a little bit of crabbing, we did ok

I'd say you did alright! Looks good. We're heading to the Sunshine Coast for most of August - hope to do some crabbing and a bit of prawning. Your pics have me psyched

Looks like a good feast.

We've been wading the flats with the spring tides up until now and are kind of crabbed out. Didn't go this week because we expected there are too many soft, freshly molted crabs. I wonder if different locals have different molts as there does seem to be a few weeks where there are a lot of soft crabs.

Ya we toss a lot of soft one back, it was still a great day out :)

Without a doubt some of the finest and most delicate eats out there.
Fresh boiled crab with a big Chardonnay.....
Cold cracked with a chilled Rose...
Doesn't get much better.
