I run 6 weights on a series of Sages.
Huge fan of ultra hi D lines to "scratch" the bottom in 20+ ft of water......where the big boys hang belly to bottom.
That fish was taken off the bottom in just over 30 ft water.

I have a 3wt with clear sinking line. St Croix legend. The older one. The new Ultra legends I do not like. On STH reels. Love the light tackle. Biggest cuttie I have caught on it was 27" and very skinny. Biggest bow was 22" The only time I fly cast is an hour after dark up until midnight. Dragon fly to the reeds. lots of fun.

Yes, mossberg bantom. Shoots up to 3 inch. Fits kids great. I will say though it shots very hi cause of the short barrel and stock, it tends to jump.

This pic is pretty unique to me because of the size of the critter.

Golfing a few yrs ago I heard a category 5 scream from the adjacent fairway.
Thinking that someone's partner dropped on the course from a jammer I ran over.

What I found was a Giant Bull snake that had scared the heck out of a pr of female golfers.

Darn thing was easy 6+ ft long.

Absolutely, it was brilliant. We had another 2 bikes strung together, thatched with branches to push the meat out on top of. The two bikes were a bit wobbly at times but slow and steady was the key.

As he aged, and couldn't make it out anymore, he would often reflect and comment on how he wished he could make it up the hill to his favorite spot just one last time.

I packed it into his favorite area and spent the day chiseling away at the rock bluff.
I set the plaque and sprinkled his ashes

He so wanted to make it up there "one last time"
Guess he got his wish after all.......

A great part of gaining Ourea's friendship for free many years ago was the regular pre and post trip councils with Coach.

It is basically illegal now to have the character he did (although I am sure Ourea will get there anyways in a few years).

One of our favourite! Facing south-Fraser River, Empire & Gang to the right.
One time there was a huge grizzly lying by the big boulder about 30 feet from the road. Eve (eagle eyes) noticed him. At first I thought it was a large brown bull. Soon as we drove within about 100 ft. he got up & ran right to the lone tree. He stood up and dangled his huge claws. A lone hiker without a gun would have been in trouble. Actually have a poor quality video somewhere.
