8-04, 8-03 LEH Bull moose draw!!

I have hunted mule deer in November here 3-4 times in the past, and thought I would apply for the moose draw here. Well The application was successful!!!!I have seen a few moose in the area while deer hunting, but never been there in the October rut season. Just looking for any info, advice or areas you might share. Thanks.

I'll go out on a limb and say, if you seen moose there in November, you will see more in the beginning of October. Sure, they may be more concentrated, but you just have to find them. Be there for October 1st if you can, as the rut will be almost in full swing, and the bulls will be running around heavy. Come November, they will be hiding a lot more, especially the older bulls.

^^^^^yup....I don't know the area, but at that time of year, call lots and be patient would be my advice..

Get on YouTube and study cow calling and bull grunts. Cow call in likely places. Be patient. If you call in the evening come back in the morning. You can call them in.
