Here is a Stone Ram killed quite a few years ago. It's almost perfectly symmetrical, lamb tips, nice bases... A dream ram!

Hmmmm.... for a opurtunity at a sheep like that I just can't decide what one to give up. The left or the right one. I am done having kids so maybe both.

Awesome ram, you guys are really starting to get me pumped up for sheep season, I have spent the whole day sofar comparing gear and getting stuff ready!
By the way Carl, do you know the spec's on that ram? Age, lenght, score etc.

Maybe 7th time will be charmed...THANKS for sharing and guranteeing ANOTHER sleepless nite...counting sheep.

By the way Carl, do you know the spec's on that ram? Age, lenght, score etc.

The Ram went 44" on either side and scored 176 and change. I think the ram was 11 but I can ask to be sure. There was a bit of controversy over this ram and it's standing in the record books... Although I don't think it was ever entered anyways.

Definately a beautiful animal!!

How much does a stone sheep on average weigh? This one doesn't look to be all that big in body.

Are they all dark or do the vary in colour?
