I'm getting old, pretty sure the only goat hunt I've done out there was in zone G. But in three days we saw two goats, both good billies. Got one. We took the road along the Holmes River into the area, then hoofed er up top.

My experience with the area is that everything is delapitated and in grown. There is a low moose density and they are pretty generous on tags cause access is so so.Not much logging going on there. There are goats for sure but the mountains are ugly and there are mountains behind the mountains. Its really rugged. I myself like the quietness, but you will have to look over alot of country cause its all tough to get at. Good luck!
