posted a thread a couple of weeks ago titled "newbie to elk in B.C", thanks to all who replied, will be headin to the koots this fall, thinkin about sept. hoping to catch the tail end of bow season and into rifle season, is it still hot at this time, r the elk still in rut? thanks for the replies.

Elk will still be into the rut till late oct ,but not as much.

It will be warm in the day and yes the elk will be bugling in september you will hit it right on.
