finally got my blackie

hey guys well it finally happend i got my bear this spring it's been tuff hunting this spring still lots of snow up too 3 feet still in some places making it really tuff seen lots of bear but all small the big one's are just starting to come out now and the season is almost over. Well i got this guy with my shot gun went with the bow but could not get it off the pack fast so he got it with the sluggs :) here's a couple of pics for you guys will have more when my friend sends them to me. sorry the pic is small trying to figure it out now:(

5'9' on the body
6" across the front paw
never scored the scull my guess around 19 maybe

the slugs worked awesome let me tell you i use Remington Premier core lokt Ultra bonded sabot slug 2 3/4inch 385gr first shot went straight through and second took out both shoulders :)

Killer, you must have been close, for the slug to go thru like that, I didn't realize how much power a shotgun has on a bruin that size, way to go.
