Hey guys,

I have some upcoming solo hunts planned and was wondering if anyone has identified a good, reliable source for BC topo maps.
Any feedback and insight would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Matt

imap bc mapping service: http://www.data.gov.bc.ca/dbc/geogra...pbc/index.page (http://www.data.gov.bc.ca/dbc/geographic/view_and_analyze/imapbc/index.page)

1. Find the area you're interested in, and zoom in to 1:20,000 or 1:50,000 or whatever you prefer
2. Go to the "maps and data tab"
3. Select "Add DataBC layers"
4.Select the appropriate layer, here being "contour lines"
Hit the "print dialogue" tab , choose your paper size, put the quality to high pdf and let her rip.

PRINT IT, or send it to a commercial printer to print!

And since it often comes up, if you want private/crown land info, select the "Land ownership and Status", then "integrated cadastral fabric", then "Integrated cadastric fabric - Private ownership" NOTE: the private land layers only work at 1:20,000 or less, and don't behave well with too many other layers.

Get the free topo map app by Avenza systems for your phone or Ipad, and download the free topo maps from Geobc from here http://geobc.gov.bc.ca/base-mapping/imagery/topographic.html ... Voila free 1:20000 topos in electronic form. Avenza will also use the location data from your phone.
