The native fishery looks like it's been going full tilt in the river since may and looking down on the water I saw about a dozen sports boats and a seine boat so something must be happening.

It isn't like it was last year, but still a good sized run....I think they a predicting 700,000 - 1,000,000. I went up Sunday and although we didn't get our full limit, we also lost a bunch too so there was definatly lots of sockeye around. Fished between Lone Tree and China Creek...lots of boats 200+
I think there is a big seine opening this week, but there will probably still be lots of fish around after.

It is crazy good out. 3 of us in the boat had out 12 before 6:30 am and that was with losing 5. 2 dummy flashers on each rigger 10 feet apart, and 15 feet above those 2 rods on each side. Dropped them down between 65 and 75 feet. Put our hooks at roughly 30/40ft down. 25" leader, pink hootchie (didn't matter what colour pink) with black marker colouring up one side of them. Get out there!
