Hunting access in Creston

Just wondering if anyone can give me any info on hunting this area for elk and deer. We have a trip planned for sept.7-14 with ages ranging from 22-74 and as I'm not super familiar with the area. I expect a lot of hiking through thick terrain, was wondering about side by side access for the old boys or is that a no go? Any general info on the area would be helpful and most appreciated.

There is lots of roads you can travel with side by sides( Hawkins creek, goat river and Kidd creek). But yes you will have a better chance getting off the roads for elk. Good luck

Cheers Kodiak, I'm a two feet and a heart beat hunter. Just wanted make sure the old boys wouldn't be stuck driving the main fsr for a week.
