Thanks for posting this. I'm thinking I may try an entry for this draw now that it's online. Does anyone have a ballpark number of how many people usually put in for this?

The odds are very low. I would guess at 50 000/1 or lower.

It's a draw worth putting in for.... Considering a Governors auction for one can go north of 275.000 bucks... Ya never know : )

i put in for it every year, just because $10 goes to habitat protection, and the other $5 is like buying a lottery ticket right? would be a really cool draw to win...

I am going to decide closer to the deadline. Since we can apply online.

Are the odds really 50,000 to 1? Seems like a poor use of $15 and just another tax scheme.

$10 of that $15 goes directly to support sheep habitat, the province raised $275k last year doing it. the other $5 is the LEH entry. so if they made roughly 275k thats 27500:1 odds give or take a few

I believe that $275000 also included the sale of the second tag at the Wild Sheep Foundation auction in Reno.

It would be a wonderful thing to win though. Just think of the possibilities ...

Can you still apply for this draw, if you have already applied for a sheep LEH?

How does it work? I can't see any zone options on my page or choice options, I submitted it just to see what would come up but just the leh code 6050, is it just a blanket let draw where you can hunt all the areas?

All of this is explained in the regs, it's quicker to read them than ask how a tag works on hbc, that being said here is the blue blurb about it in the regs
