Questions of black bear hunting in region 8

The black bear hunt is on any public land for April 1st to June 30th right? Is it only August that is on private land? Thanks for any help. I just want to clear my mind and make sure im not breaking the law to get a bear this year.

You are correct, and technically we have to wait until the new regs come out (sometime in July) to see if the August private land only season will be continued;) although of course it will..
