Hey, We've been putting in some time around PG tracking down rainbow trout and Burbot (Ling Cod). I love set-lines, its like christmas morning every time we pull them up. Check out the video here:

Thanks! They are all moose skinners, fish gutters and horse wranglers.

They seemed pretty down with what they were doing.
It obviously wasn't "foreign" to them.

Ur investment of time will pay dividends in the yrs to come.

When all is said and done in life, we only want to be remembered for a few key things.......making a difference in a child's life and for being kind.
Again, tip of the hat for your efforts.

Your right, there are a few key things in life that are important, and all we can do is our best. Thanks for the encouraging words.

Eating a beating fish heart yuk. Good job getting them into the sport.
Tight lines.

Most excellent, thanks for sharing. I wish we could use set lines here in northern Alberta. I love the taste of burbot.

I love getting the kids to pull in the set lines, my son calls burbot "tiger fish" because of the unique markings. And really the best eating fish out there, i would favour it over halibut any day.

I love Halibut, but I agree, these burbot always seem to be super yummy whereas some of the bigger Halibut can seem a bit dry (no disrespect to big 'buts).
