My brother got a G-Bear draw this year. First year applying... I've been applying since I don't know when and have never got the draw. Go figure... Our plan was to go the last week of May. Which we did. But I think we were about a week late with this warm spring. We seen a couple g-bears... no shooters. I chased a bunch of black bears with my pointy sticks. Nothing that was worthy of poking. So here' some of the scenery...

They are opening it up a little on the south end of the zone I noticed. Maybe going in to do some logging? If we did jump a bear and it hit the ditch... there was no finding it again.

That's a pretty bear, I think I would've taken him. 1st draw, 1st bear ...kind of goes together
Regardless, the experience must have been out of this world

He was holding out for something bigger. Still has one more weekend left. We seen a lynx a day out there and there was also a huge number of grouse and bunnies.

Looks like a great trip. That pic of the g bear is badass, pretty much as good as killing it in my books.

Seeing how close together his ears are is probably pass on that little guy too, still a nice look bear. Great pics op, your lucky to have a brother that hunts with you, I ended up with one of those social justice warrior antis.
