Region 4 Grizz

Brother got this Bear. Region 4. Mature Boar. Inspector says it's big, but I don't have any measurements yet. Typical grizzly hunting story so won't bother you with any details. He's very happy with it.

Yeah, my hunting partner shot a beauty grizzly May long weekend with his 30-06 using 180 Barnes TTSX. It broke both shoulders and dropped it on the spot. Very impressive

I don't know the exact story, but it was glassed up an avalanche chute and there was a sow nearby. They both went into the thick stuff then he popped out at about 180 yards. First shot it didn't move but expect it broke a shoulder. Second shot sent it tumbling. Good visible blood trail in the snow but it required quick work to get it dealt with and packed out before dark. 180 grain trophy bonded bear claws though a 300wsm. The one that broke a shoulder was found under the opposite hide, nice mushroom and great weight retention.

Yup it is big . well over 7 feet. .And the color looks right for Region 4.
