View Full Version : Turkey Bag Limit Question
Hey Fellas, I successfully harvested one Tom this year in the Koots. I have a question pertaining to the bag limit allotment and how the species licence works up until expiry. Currently, my non-res licence and upland game bird licence are valid until March 31st 2017. Does this mean I can legally harvest another turkey this Fall?

Best to read the regulations. A quick look showed one in the spring, and one in the fall for some areas of region 4. http://www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/gov/sports-recreation-arts-and-culture/outdoor-recreation/fishing-and-hunting/hunting/regulations/2014-2016/hunting-trappingsynopsis_2014-2016.pdf

You can kill two turkeys, one in the spring(tom only season shotgun, rimfire, or archery) and one in the fall(any turkey but shotgun or archery only- rimfire not allowed).

No. Provincial bag limit is 2 and only 1 may be taken during each season (spring and fall).

You can take 2 turkeys in one reg but only 2 in total.
1 in reg 8 & 1 in reg 4 = 2
2 in reg 4 = 2
2 in reg 4 & 2 in reg 8 = a fine or loss of hunting privileges
