Open lakes

Going to book friday off work and head out fly fishing for the dayin my bellyboat. Any of the lakes around Kelowna or Merrit open and producing fish yet? Anybody want to come along?

Me and the old man went on wood luck a couple weeks back and I got skunked trolling with every fly I had, but the old man Got a kokanee and a bottom feeder...don't know the "politically" correct term, off his spin reel. Still ice on the usual lakes we like to go to in the mountains. When I was flying into Kelowna last week I noticed pinause is ice off now. Let me know how it goes !

Was just up the Kane on Sunday, all the lakes are clear and were being fished. Don't know if they had luck I was looking for bruins

Ended up going to boot lake and landed 5, gf caught a real nice one way bigger than mine.

She got lucky fish was swimming buy with its mouth open and ran into her fly.

That's right I sure did.and it's all talent not luck lol.... fish just knew who was boss lol ... He was about 16" and real nice. I caught 5 but landed 3 it was a great way to spend the morning.
