I have a bushnell 6500 elite on my 300 winmag, amazing scope - has a decent body count on it with a great success rate, making me quite brand loyal.

I've just purchased a Sako A7 with a Burris scope on it. The Burris isn't good enough at long range for my eyes to make a confident species ID..

So, I am looking at the Bushnell Legend 4.5x14 Or the Bushnell Elite 3500 4x12.. Anyone know really the difference between the Legend and the Elites ? Personal Experiences ?

Thanks!

I had a 3500 before and was very happy with it, sold it with the gun, but bought a 6500 a couple years ago, and again very happy. I have never had a problem with Bushnell in 40 years, but other will disagree and tel you to buy something else I am sure lol

Between the two I can't see a winner.

The legend is the bottom line scope. The 3500 should be a better scope. I wouldn't say the 3500 would be better than the burris though. You would have to compare the two to get a good feel for the difference.
