Ok let's just make some crap clear:

1) The pictures of my niece were taken about 10 minutes after shooting was done and the targets were cleaned up. They are "staged" pictures. We had forgotten to take pictures so pulled over driving home and did these shots for her scrap book.
2) Her finger is NOT on the trigger, it's just the angle of the picture
3) The barrel of the gun is NOT pointed at her head while holding the rifle. It is in front of her.

That is a nice looking Lynx. I have never seen one in the wild. Only see bobcats and cougar.

It's great that she seems to be enjoying the experience, and that you're taking
a youngster out shooting. Very fortunate for the both of you, and us as an audience,
to see a lynx in the wild. I've seen quite a few, but always enjoy seeing them....
they just seem to suddenly be there.

Still looks like the fingers on the trigger to me. Not that I care. A cleared gun is a cleared gun. I pull the trigger on mine in the house all the time.

Yes...I can never understand why whomever thinks they see or read something that could be wrong
doesn't quickly PM the poster and offer their concerns so that the poster can address it if need be, rather
than potentially publically embarrass him/her.

Pictures do lie so it is good to make the crap clear.

Curious... did she use eye protection when she shot?

She needs her own rifle. Dad's stock is a little big for her. C'mon dad . . . buck 2" of that butt.:)
