A friend of mine from Sweden would like to hunt black bear, possibly grizzly in BC maybe somewhere not to far from Vancouver but doesn't have to be close. As I understand I can only get a permit to accompany if he's related to me. So I'm looking for a good guide outfitter that can help him out with getting to hunt here. Any suggestions?

Yep go to the goabc and start your search for a guide there. Then contact references from there.

I would check with Chilcotin Hillbilly here and Mike, aka Bearvalley, should know somebody as well.

I would support a *Hosted Hunter* programme for Blacks here in BC, straight $1000.00 tag to the ministry and maybe a $500.00 harvest fee. We have so many bears, would like to see them thinned out and the $$$ would help with wildlife funding.

Probably never fly with all the various interested parties in BC game *management* today.................

Check out the FN's around the GREAT BEAR RAIN FORREST, for a nominal fee I'm sure they would help him out.

Black bear hunts in the interior can be had for less than $4000.......sometimes much less. No shortage of bears, and lots of colored bruins to spice it up.

Thanks for the input. I agree BgBlkDg a "hosted hunter" program for black bear would be great. And I'll check out Chilcotin Hillbilly.
