Blacktail Shed Hunting

Hey HBC,

Been out a few times for BT sheds this year with zip to show for. I feel as if I am doing something wrong because I don't hunt BT's so im not too sure what to look for. Got into some real steep country the other day, but it just seemed odd for BT's. I know south facing slopes, and to look for bedding areas on ridges and such. Any other tips appreciated!

Just look for the steepest nastiest hillside with big fir. Follow game trails and look for the benches, where there is relief in the terrain. Good luck out there
