I finally got my wolf back today. Here's some pics from start to finish. The only thing I have to do is take the skull up to Berreth for some measurements. I think my taxi did a killer job.

Here's right from the beginning-

300 WSM, didn't you already get a time out for for stiring the pot? Maybe you should read over the forum guidlines before you post again. Here is a couple of them I'd like you to take a look at.

5. If you’ve got a bone to pick with another member use the email or PM system not the forums! Keep the PM’s in the PM’s do not post someone’s PM in the forums.

6. There is to be no frowning upon a member for the method of hunting used, or the sex, age of the animal. If it's legal then it's legal no if, and, or, but!

That is one fine wolf . I can only hope to get one myself one day .

Dana I will sit down and share a lion meal with both our families any time

300WSM lion is slang for cougar in the Canadian hunting world as stated by 3kills . You should realy try it as I would take it over elk ,moose,or beef anytime .

Tufferthandug you got that right, your taxidermist did a killer job. What a beautiful trophy. Great work! I like the unusual coloring with white, gray and the tan spots on the neck and between the hind legs.

I look forward to see how Dana’s lion turned out. Talking about the lion.
Quote by Calvin L

300WSM lion is slang for cougar in the Canadian hunting world … Lion is not slang it is one of many accepted official names for the Cougar (Puma concolor), also Puma and Mountain lion or simply referred to as lion, in the Andes the animal is often called Panther (Pantera and sometimes also El Tigre). The Puma is a New World mammal of the Felidae (Cat) family. The Puma has the largest range of any mammal in the Western Hemisphere, extending from Yukon in Canada to the southern Andes of South America. It is this vast range that has given this animal many different accepted names often varying from region to region.

300 wsm – This is my favorite quote I came up with some years ago:"Wouldn’t it be wise for us to be more tolerant of each other and pick our battles with the ones that really threaten our way of life?"

300WSM,
Lions, Wolves and Bears. Oh My! Yup they are all open to hunting in this great province. I refuse to eat a wolf, but I will kill them when given the chance. I like bear meat. Some people don't. I do. And you ain't lived until you've eaten some pussy. :)

Tuffer,
I guess my wolf has been ready for a while. The taxi didn't even call me when it was done. He figured I'd pick it up at the same time as my 05 lion. I'm lookin forward to having them both back. Then I can drop off my son's bear.

300 WSM. Lion is a great feast. I guess you better stop shooting elk and deer.........Unless they are harming your cattle of coarse.:-D

I talked to your Taxi and bribed him to hold back your bill until Nov. 1st unless you tell me where Mnt lived...LOL.

Thanks for the comments. I forgot to mention the taxidermists name. I got the wolf done by Woodland Taxidermy just outside Quesnel. She's done great work for myself and others, but she said yesterday that her shop was getting pretty filled up. So the waits will be a tad longer for a while. Which is fine, a long wait is worth it for good taxidermy.
