Didn't know cougars could eat you while you're in a vehicle. You island guys have some tough cats.......

Vehicle or not, I would of been pretty scared. I have been close to grizzlies, blackies, coyotes, and wolves. Never batted an eye. Been close to 2 cougars, and both times thought "well this is it. Oh well!" Just something in the eyes.

That's why I carry at work. Had my saw full bore into a big cedar and if my partner didn't see the cat10 feet behind me and get my attention I'm sure I would have been ca food

One reason I to carry my defender and all the other stuff that I might need if I ever have an encounter..

Not exactly a great example, three kittens.

They couldn't figure out if it was the new F150 or Ram. Should have gotten out and pet those little kitties, but they would have run off if he opened the door.

Big cats can be very dangerous. A little pussy never hurt anyone though.

LOL same here...what alot of people don't realize though is, if one attacks you, fight back with all you got..bottom line is they are a predator, and can't risk getting hurt in a fight, if injured badly enough they can't catch prey...so from what I've heard, fight back, and they'll usually back off right away..

Seen a few briefly on the island and coast. Had one sneak up on me working away in the woods years ago. Was just young and curios, we locked eyes and it swiftly vacated. Didn't want an axe buried in its noggin I guess. IMO, the way they hunt if they wanted you they'd get ya even packing a gun. As far as the three in the video, just young n dumb I'd say, wouldn't have taken much to spook em off...

So if you're allergic to housecats, would that apply to cougars? Just asking. . .
