Turkey with a Flint Lock

Looking to hunt Turkey with a flint lock 20g smoothbore trade gun this year (same gun the pilgrims would have used as early as 1640). Region 8 seems a logical place for me to go to. Any one willing to offer any insite as to areas or tips on the birds in this area etc. Not looking for your honey hole. Any intel would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
