In the very zone I applied for and the very zone I was unsuccessful in getting the draw, this guy was eating right in the ditch. No Blackies today but I did get to shoot this guy with a camera. He wasn't all that big but he had a nice colour. I imagine if I had had a gun he wouldn't have let me get so close beside him.

Those are cool pics, he looks a little scrawny when he was walking away but the pic in the ditch showed the hump nicely. He sure had the nice colours though!8)

That is a nice colored bear! Similar to the one my dad got about 6 years ago, not the hugest bear (6'8") but a beautiful blonde color. Nice pictures

If I was to wrestle a bear, this one would have been the one. He was a bit of a pantie wipe.
Thanks for the nice comments even though the pictures were taken from the window of my truck, and not from hiking 10 miles into an alpine valley and making a perfect shot. The sharks must be full from Todd Bartell, LOL...
Tuffer,
Nice Grizzwald Pics!!!! I was up your way this weekend. Couldn't believe that there still was snow in Barkerville. Was nice because the the bugs ain't out yet.
