Hey, may stop by and grab a ticket for support, I have a pretty busy Weekend so can't stay long.
Just curious however, sounds like you would have to be there for the draw?

Hi GB,

Nope, you don't have to be there for the draw. All we ask is that you write what item you'd like on the back of your ticket so we can keep track of inventory. Thanks for your interest!

P.S. There is also a Langley Ducks Unlimited Banquet taking place on February 27th at Cascades Casino and Resort. Tickets are $50 and there will be a live and silent auction as well as raffles and a gun an hour giveaway with the purchase of your ticket!

Thanks Ruger! We look forward to seeing you there! Last weekend in Winfield the same event took place and 27 guns were given away!

That's a good job you guys did across from the dump road in Abbotsford. I stop there once in a while to count the ducks and geese. Not to many wood ducks.

Thanks again Ruger! In the Vancouver Lower Mainland, Ducks Unlimited Canada has completed over 50 projects along with other conservation partners, which has conserved over 91,700 acres of wetland and farmland habitat for waterfowl and diversity of other wildlife species. Since the 1980’s, DUC has invested over $24 million dollars in the Vancouver Lower Mainland, with specific focus in the Fraser River Delta, which is DUC’s highest conservation priority in BC.

Not to many wood ducks.

That's because they are in my yard for snacks every daybreak, minimum 10 - 12 pairs..

I am guessing the sportsman's bash was a bit of a bust. We were there from 1:30-4:30 and there was never even one draw done. We had bought 6 tickets at our table. We were hoping to be in on at least 2-3 draws. Was anybody from here lucky? Thanks to the organizers for the event.

I did not look to see when the draw was. ip270win will know. Wait for his reply. I bought three tickets.

Was there also, got there around 2 o'clock and they had only sold 24 tickets. We stayed until suppertime or maybe a little later, bought our tickets 3 of them and left. They said they would draw regardless at 8 PM even if they hadn't sold 60 tickets. Didn't hear anything so guess our table didn't win anything.

Thanks to everyone for coming out! We had sold the 60th ticket about 6:45. A gentleman by the name of Craig won who had left around 4 or so. I called him and he's letting me know today what he'd like to pick. Sometimes we draw 27 raffles sometimes 1 but at the end of the day it's always more bucks for the ducks! Thanks again to all who came out and supported this event!

If if anyone's interested we do have the Langley DU banquet happening on Feb 27th at Cascades Casino. Tickets are $50 and include a great meal and a gun an hour giveaway. There will be live and silent auction as well as some great raffles.

We're also always looking for volunteers in the lower mainland and the throughout BC. It's a great time organizing these events and you always meet great, likeminded people who enjoy the outdoors. PM me if your interested and I can set you up with a committee or help get an event going in your community!

Thanks for your time and the great effort you all put into DU events. Wish you had a better turn out so here's hoping this Saturday will be better.

Hopefully you can do another event out here again. Maybe try Finnegans pub next time it is a bigger place. I have been to the Abbotsford DU dinners a couple times.
