I see on google earth there is a barge or ferry that crosses the river for logging into the east side of the scrip range. Can the public use this?

I believe it's been gone from there for years, at least it's never been there when I hunted up there 2002-present. Always had to boat across with bikes for moose. I've seen the barge at other crossings further north throughout the years for logging, but it's not for public use anyway.

If downy is running a ferry where your want to go they will take you across and back for 80 bucks . best to phone them . thats Downey Timber LTD

That's reasonable! Haven't seen much logging going on that side for awhile, might get lucky though

hydo crews go back and forth at 49 creek and they may be logging at kirbyville .
