About 2 weeks ago I came across where a lion had killed a whitetail and dragged it down across the road. The kill was very fresh so I went home and got a trail camera and set it up. Unfortunately the very next morning some lion hunters came across the evidence and struck the lion from where it was bedded near the kill. I figured I would leave the camera up to see if I could catch a bobcat or coyotes feeding. I went back up today and as luck would have it this lion had just been there that morning. She must have been very close at hand. Nothing had been there for the prior 2 weeks other than ravens. It would be interesting to know if the hunters killed the lion they ran and this is another or just treed it. If so this lion appropriated a kill that wasn't hers. I'd hoped to get some footage of her feeding but unfortunately she dragged the deer carcass behind the camera without triggering it so no great footage but I have repositioned the camera. I think she spots more ravens near the end.

Great footage very cool to see, what kind of camera you using. Cant believe you didn't use up all your card on ravens or is it
not pointed directly at the kill. Friends have put cameras on kills but once the birds find them they just get 100s of shots of the ravens.

Very cool footage thanks for posting. Something about that tail switching around makes the hair on my neck stand up.
