Opening day had lots of action and after working 5 toms numerous jakes & hens I finally got the toms to come into 27 yrds and took out a tree at 20 yrds...

Day 2 seen lots of hens but other then that no action...
Day 3....
Tried a spot I got perm for the 2'nd season in a row with high hopes.
Numerous birds were sounding off next door 300+ yrds away so I hurries to get into the bush and setup.
Birds were going nuts next door and not a sound where I was until I let out some soft yelps on the mouth call and got cut off right away..
This bird went nuts and continued when he hit the ground so I sat quietly and got ready.
I caught sight of him 65yrds away and waited only to lose sight.
Called again and he was in the field and coming.
I watched him enter back into the bush 55yrds away and was waiting for him to close the distance.
Once he hit 40 yrds I had to move my gun slightly to get on him not knowing I had another bird within 20 yrds that took off running.
As soon as I had a shot before he could get out of there he was on the ground flopping......

Day 4....
Not much action again with only a few birds seen...
Day 5 and final day for me to hunt.....
Slept in and didn't get to the bush until 1 or so hrs into light.
Got to my location that I have setup in many times and started digging in pockets and setting up.
Parked my butt and let out a series of loud yelps and cutts and had a return in cutts.
Did it again and had it returned back and waited.
Within mins I had cutts right beside me and slowly turned my head and spotted 2 jakes 30yrds away and my spring season was over.....

Fall season....
First day out and did a bad bust on a group of birds.
Took 3 hrs of calling them back and put a fall hen down pushing 9lbs..
