You can create an account and comment on regulation changes.

Those interested in using handguns & restricteds for hunting should comment accordingly for consideration.

I must be a little slow on this....I've logged in etc, but when I want to view the "Proposed Regulation Changes for the 2016-2018 Hunting and Trapping Regulations Synopsis (http://apps.nrs.gov.bc.ca/pub/ahte/hunting/proposed-regulation-changes-2016-2018-hunting-and-trapping-regulations-synopsis)" and than the next link http://apps.nrs.gov.bc.ca/pub/ahte/ to actually see the
proposed new regs, I just end up "looping back"????????
I can see some of the other more "specific" changes.
Oh well...

Has hunting with handguns actually been put forward as a proposal? If so, where? I'd be all over that like a fat kid on a twinkie!

No it hasn't, but enough individual proposals can help table future discussion.

Considering the transport regulations on restricted are Federal, I can't see where there's much hope for making that work with a provincial regulation change. Nice thought though.
