Two times around Lumby in the last 20 years that I know of. Do these deer get special washroom priveleges or other rights that the rest of them don't get . If not then we definetly have a deer abuse problem and we need a national enquiery.

I shot one 20 years ago near Big White. It was a two point white tail. I couldn't eat it. I gave the meat to my hunting buddy who was with me when I shot it. I don't know why I didn't want the meat??? Weirdo I guess.

I have the antlers from a doe shot on the west side of Okanagan Lake. They are very non typical.

My neighbor shot a mule doe 4x4 a few years ago in the Falkland area. I saw it myself and posted a thread here asking the same question. Now I know they are not overly rare!

I shot a spike whitetail that turned out to be a doe, it had a deformity on its front right leg ( The leg looked as though it had been broken and had healed misaligned) it had 6" long antler on the left side of the head and no antler on the right side of the head. I hope my gender neutral language on this post falls within Alberta NDP guidelines and is inoffensive to everyone here, I'm doing my best to keep my "micro aggressions" in check.

I am thinkin if i shot an antlered doe that it would be remaning in one piece head attached for the ride home...

Yes a good idea to leave the antlers attached. The regs say antlered/antlerless, not buck or doe so you have done nothing wrong. We got a 2 point "doe" whitetail in Kimberly last season and the butcher told us he see's a couple each year.

Exactly what we did, made it a little harder to handle in camp and fit in the cooler when we needed to get home, but we made do

I figure it would hopefully reduce the "questions" if stopped on the way home if left relatively whole...

An armstrong fireman got one a few years ago. Don't know many details, just heard about it through a buddy.

shot a blacktail fork at the end of November in the early 80's that was still in velvet and had no pecker and nuts.
