Another Bear Down

Went out Sunday afternoon to see if we could find another bear for my son, Cody. Turned out he wasn't feeling very well, so he said it was okay if I took this one. I couldn't pass it up. This is the most beautiful bear I've ever killed. Not the biggest, at 5'8", but the prettiest by far. She was moseying along the edge of a cut and then into the timber. I put the stalk on her and was able to sneak up on her feeding at 15 yards. My daughter, Jesse, was very excited about being in on 2 bears in the one week. Sunday's was less than an hour's hunt. Another great family outing.

While I was stalking the bear, I tripped over this great shed with a sweet little dropper. We went back yesterday looking for the match but to no avail.

thats a beauty! I was stalkin one that looked very similar on saturday. got within 15 yards and was at full draw, but decided to shop around some more... big mistake! :)

I can tell ya for a fact, that right there is what it is all about. Seeing that smile was priceless. Sure is a lot of fun bear hunting with the kids.
