My neighbour hasn't hunted since he left the Charlottes to move to Vancouver to start a new career 12 years ago and I am trying to encourage him to start again..
He misplaced his hunter number card though.
I see in the regs synopsis he should contact Victoria to get a duplicate.
Has anyone done this?
How long does it take?

It happened to me before. Just go to your nearest government agent with the proper id and it should only take them a few minutes. I'm not sure if you have to pay a small fee?
Tell your neighbour to go for it. l have known two people who have misplaced hunter numbers and had them replaced......the # stays with you for life even if you move to another province then back.
I had my wallet ripped off once and along with other ID my hunter number went with it too, if l remember correctly, they re-issued me a duplicate over the counter at an access center on the spot.

I lost my card between Comox and Lahr, Germany in hte 80's. It was easy to get a new card when I came back across the pond.
