Time for a fun thread. Looking for ideas for quick and easy options for taking care of natures duty! Of course we can all use the bush like the Bears but what does everyone do for a wall tent or base camp setup.

Also curious what people use for shower ideas as well.

Five gallon pail with a soft seat on top. I line it with a small garbage bag. And put saw dust in it. Had one of those medical chairs with the aluminum frame. Got tired of putting it together and taking it apart. You can find them at some bargoon stores.

We bring along an old lawn chair, cut a hole in the middle and dig a hole underneath. Chair goes to the dump after the trip lol

For a sh!thouse, I have a shovel. Don't fix what ain't broke. ;)

For shower;
12v marine wash down pump w/shower head.
16L stainless pot on fire.
Heat water, dump in storage tote, add equal cold water.
32L shower ready to go.

It it takes me 30-40 minutes from the time I fill the first pot.
I camp all year, started 2016 season already. When it's cold, wet, dark and dreary, there's no better morale booster than a hot shower.

I agree, I use a zodi shower pump with stainless pot etc. Uses D cell batteries, good for tent camps. Works well in a trailer when the system is winterized, just run it through your holding tanks.

Find a stump or log, hold on, squat, then use mullen, grass, or Canadian tire $$$ to wipe...done it hundreds of times....snow works well also...
