Well, lets try this out. Hopefully the video link will work.
I took my buddy out last night looking for a black bear. He has never hunted bear bfore so he said he wanted a decent bear. one that he could make a good rug out of and get some sausage meat off. So we headed out at about 7 o clock last night on the hunt. I took him to a spot where i knew the grass was really lush and green and had seen some bear sign around. At about 8 oclock i spotted a decent bear grazzing in the trees. The wind was right in our face as we made our stalk on the bear. Half way there we spooked a nice little mulie buck. Just starting to grow some points. We got to within 50 yards of the bear, and i blew our cover. i thought the bear was looking the opposite direction but instead he was looking straight at us as we were scootin sideways to get to an open spot for a shot. In the video you will see that i took the camera off of the bear just a bit just as cecil took a shot. He hit it high in the lungs and in the spine. put the bear down in its tracks. The bear is a good size bear for around here. from nose to tail on the carcass it was more than 6 feet. The pics and video dont do much justice. take a look at the video. enjoy
