A friend of mine showed me this photo of a goat taken on a local LML peak. I was quite surprised to hear that there were goats up there at all. To give you an idea, this guy had a pleasant view of 'the wack' from his perch. No hunting season, GOS or otherwise. He looked pretty decent so I thought I'd throw it up here and see what you guys thought.

And a little zoomed in:

Curious to see what you guys have to say.

Cheers, Sylus

9.5-10" I guess. Pretty good herd of goats up that way. I've spotted as many as 27 From one spot. Pitt lake has a bunch as well. They come right down to lake in one spot.

I'd say it's a 2 point.

Good call, I think the 4 point genetics have been totally shot out in this area

I wonder why they shut it down. You think they could manage a sustainable harvest easy enough.

I would think it might cross the 10" mark.

I would say because of a high nanny harvest... Most of the successful leh holders got their goat... One was poached, the area did/could sustain a harvest of 1 or 2 .. This harvest was too high.. The herd nearly disappeared , but has been slowly rebuilding ever since.

That's really too bad... Good to hear they are making a come back.

I would say 9"-9.5" probably around the 44" -45" mark. Tricky angle to judge. Makes the horns look smaller than they probably are.

I'm going with NorBC. I would say that it is around 9". Its got that mature face, but the horns just are not that developed. Nice goat though.

I'm going with 9".
I'd say the bases would need to be thicker to get him into the 10 range.
As others stated, they don't look developed enough.
Nice looking goat...thanks for the pics

Not sure on actual score. Don't think it's a 10" goat tho. 9"'ish. Cool pic!
