He any HBC members been working Boundary Bay Cloverdale Surrey area for waterfowl lately?
with all this rain and wind must be some good shoots out there.

I Plan an on heading out soon for the last month that's left.

Managed some cool drake shovelers last year, looking forward for some northern greenheads, big drake pins, big decoying flocks if wig , the ever speedy teal and friends........ Then next weekend it's goosin time !

Will hopefully have some good shoots left with NO FREEZE UP !

I would guess the weekends wind brought about some good local shooting.

I was was lucky enough to be able to go out today, Clovergulch area. Good decoying mostly Mallards and Widgeon. Only been out a couple times but haven't had the opportunity to harvest mature drake Pin yet. Even a couple the larger mallards were not complete of plumage yet. Good size to them though. Fatty well fed birds also.

good times with a good friend, that's what it's about.

good shootin all.

Only two days left ........ Darn it, well only one period of freeze up which wasn't too bad. Only out a few times this past season but it's been fun. Still glad to have local shooting not far from home. Been doing it for about fifty years now, looking for ward to the next season, Already, good times.

no more guys going out in the Gulch the next couple days?

The sky was black with ducks yesterday. At precisely 10 Minutes after last legal!

Had a blast of a season with the usual crowd plus a few more. Shot a teal 5 minutes after the season started and a mallard 5 minutes before it ended. And the bit in the middle wasn't bad either!
