Prince George Lakes Ice thickness

As the title suggests, how thick is ice around PG? I will probably be up there for work next week with a few free days. Already have a wolf hunt lined up but wouldn't mind getting a day of ice fishing in.

Ice fishermen were on Vivian last Saturday. People were skating on Fergusen on Sunday. I am pretty sure it was dicey but these cold temps will help get hard water quick. Focus on the smaller lakes and stay closer to shore.

-17 on my front door this morning, should be 4-6" on the small lakes pretty soon, if not already....can't decide between last chance mulie or first ice trout this weekend!

Im going to check out a local lake tomorrow. Rifle is put away and ice fishing gear is back out.

Was out on 2 small local lakes today, both had 6" of good hard ice....still the time of year to be careful and spud your way out
