Got myself my first 'yote

Just got back today from a hunt with 4pointer and HighCountry north of Clinton. Saw a few nice brown bear as well as a few blackies, but non were to my liking. Seen quite a few deer also, the majority bucks. Then just as late morning settled in and I was out for a hike I came across this guy hanging out on a small grassy opening along the edge of the bush about 40 yards out. One shot and he dropped on the spot.

Maybe I am missing something, but aren't coyotes closed?

in the cariboo, IIRC they dont close in some areas until June 30

ok, I always thought it was March 31, guess I should read the regs.

Same with Reg 3, some areas are open into June, good to know.
